1. A. Qualification for certification of individuals as instructors shall be as follows:

   1. 1. certified as an operator on the approved instrument by the applied technology unit;
   2. 2. attendance of an additional16-hour course approved by the applied technology unit;
   3. 3. involved in a chemical testing program approved by the applied technology unit.
