1. A. Recognition. If an applicant has met all of the requirements established by this Chapter, the department may employ the applicant as a motorcycle safety instructor.

2. B. Maintenance. To retain such status, a motorcycle safety instructor shall:

   1. 1. maintain a satisfactory driving record;
   2. 2. successfully complete all required workshops and meetings related to the program;
   3. 3. maintain a teaching proficiency acceptable by the program coordinator;
   4. 4. complete and submit all program surveys and other forms as required;
   5. 5. comply with all of the appropriate rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines prescribed by the department for the program; and
   6. 6. maintain certificates as required.
