The rules contained herein are promulgated by the Louisiana Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Office of State Police, in order to set forth the policies and procedures applicable to requesting and receiving criminal history background checks on licensed ambulance personnel and nonlicensed persons, pursuant to R.S. 40:1203.1 et seq., by employers and authorized agencies..
