1. A. If the suction outlet system, such as a filtration system, booster system, automatic cleaning system, solar system, etc., has a single suction outlet, or multiple suction outlets which can be isolated by valves, each suction outlet shall protect against user entrapment by either:

   1. 1. an antivortex cover;
   2. 2. a 12 inch by 12 inch grate or larger;
   3. 3. Section 511.C. Main Drain;
   4. 4. other means approved by the state health officer.
