1. A. Scope. The provisions of this Chapter shall govern the materials, design, construction, and installation of sanitary drainage systems.
2. B. Damage to Drainage System, Sewerage System, or Sewage-Treatment Plant. Wastes which are detrimental to, and/or able to cause damage or operational problems to, either the drainage system, the sewerage system, or the functioning of the sewage-treatment plant shall be treated and disposed of in accordance with §703.F, §1005, or an approved pretreatment system as directed by the plumbing official.
3. C. Individual Sewerage System. Where a community sewerage system is not available, an individual sewerage system shall be of a type that is acceptable and approved by the state health officer. See Chapter 17 of this code.
4. D. Tests. The sanitary drainage system shall be tested in accordance with §319 of this code.
5. E. Engineered Systems. Engineered sanitary drainage and venting systems shall conform to the provisions of Chapter 12 of this code.
