LAC 51:XII.109 – Requirements for Sources of a Potable Water Supply [formerly paragraph 12-002-4]

A. Water supplied for potable purposes shall be:
1. 1. obtained from a source free from pollution; or
2. 2. obtained from a source adequately protected by natural agencies from the effects of pollution; or
3. 3. adequately protected by artificial treatment.
