LAC 51:VI.719 – Salvaged Food Labeling Responsibility [formerly paragraph 6:131]

A. The responsibility for the salvage labeling required by §§715-717 of this Part shall be that of:
1. 1. [formerly paragraph 6:131-1] the person selling or offering to sell such food at wholesale or retail (if in bulk display form);
2. 2. [formerly paragraph 6:131-2] the person selling or offering to sell at retail or for institutional use (if salvaged within the state of Louisiana); or
3. 3. [formerly paragraph 6:131-3] the first person selling or offering to sell such food at wholesale or retail within the state of Louisiana (if salvaged outside of the state of Louisiana).
