1. A. As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings provided below.

   1. Applicant―any person which has submitted an application to manufacture, sell, distribute, transport or repair gaming equipment within the state pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter.
   2. Division―the Gaming Enforcement Division of the Office of State Police.
   3. Gaming Equipment―any mechanical, electrical, or other contrivance used to facilitate the risking of loss of anything of value in order to realize a profit.
   4. Transporter―any person primarily engaged in the business of transporting gaming devices or equipment for hire.
