1. A. In accordance with R.S. 44:401 and 44:406, the Louisiana State Archives may accept records from state agencies according to the following criteria:

   1. 1. the records are scheduled on an approved records retention schedule;
   2. 2. the records are determined to possess intrinsic, historical, or evidentiary value or are mandated by law to be kept as permanent records.
