1. A. Contractual services include all contracts, interagency agreements, or other documents for the maintenance and service of equipment, buildings, or any other facilities and the lease and rental of equipment of any state agency under the jurisdiction of the Division of Administration, as noted in §1703.
2. B. The following is a listing of contracts referred to in this memorandum. Any other type of contract needs prior approval from the state chief procurement officer.

3. C. It is emphasized that this directive applies to contractual service for maintenance and contractual agreements for leases and rentals of equipment. Listed below are some commodities that fall into this category:

   1. 1. janitorial services;
   2. 2. garbage disposal services;
   3. 3. water treatment services;
   4. 4. office machine maintenance;
   5. 5. thermostatic and temperature control;
   6. 6. laundry services;
   7. 7. pest control services;
   8. 8. office equipment;
   9. 9. communication equipment;
   10. 10. heavy equipment;
   11. 11. concession leases;
   12. 12. vending; and/or
   13. 13. any other category with prior approval of the state chief procurement officer.
