LAC 4:I.701 – Short Title

A. These procedures are in response to the Federal "Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act" (e-sign) effective October 1, 2000. E-sign applies only to the use of electronic records and signatures in interstate or foreign commerce. These rules may be referred to as the
"E-Sign Rules."
