1. A. The State Board of Library Examiners will issue executive certification to individuals who have:

   1. 1. a master’s degree in library and information science granted by a library school accredited by the American Library Association;
   2. 2. three years executive experience in a public library after receiving the library science degree; and
   3. 3. attained a grade of at least 75 on the examination.
