1. A. Submitted applications will be reviewed and evaluated by a DED review committee. The committee will prepare a list of projects for funding and, if necessary, input may be required from the applicant, other divisions of the Department of Economic Development, and other state agencies as needed in order to:

   1. 1. evaluate the strategic importance of the project to the economic well-being of the state and local communities;
   2. 2. validate the information presented; and
   3. 3. determine the overall feasibility of the port's plan.
2. B. After evaluation the review committee will submit a list of projects recommended to be eligible for funding to the Secretary of the Department of Economic Development.
3. C. The Secretary of DED will have the final authority in funding any recommended project under this program.
