1. LED—the Louisiana Department of Economic Development.
2. LEDC—the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation, acting through its board of directors.
3. Program—the Economic Development Site Readiness Program (EDRED).
4. Project—the location or expansion of a business or industrial facility in the state.
5. Public Site—a site which a public entity owns or for which a public entity holds an option to acquire the ownership for a project.
6. Site—immovable property, with or without improvements thereon, located in the state.
7. Site Readiness Grant—a monetary grant for the purpose of enhancing the suitability and availability of a site for a project.
