(1) For a notarial act relating to a tangible or electronic record, or for an electronic notarization, a notary public may charge a fee: In compliance with KRS 64.300; and

- (b) Which has been clearly disclosed to the person requesting the service in advance.
- (2) Compensation for services provided by a notary public which do not constitute notarial acts is not governed by this section.
(3) The Secretary of State may charge the following fees in relation to notaries public:
- (a) Application for a commission or renewal as a notary public........................$10 Issuance of a replacement commission upon loss or destruction of the
