1. (1) Each limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this Commonwealth:

   1. (a) A designated office, which need not be a place of its activity in this Commonwealth; and
   2. (b) A registered office and agent for service of process at that office that comply with KRS 14A.4-010.
2. (2) Each foreign limited partnership qualified the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall designate and continuously maintain in this Commonwealth a registered office and agent for service of process that comply with KRS 14A.4-010. transact business in to
