1. (1) On or before September 1 of each year, the Kentucky Department of Education shall submit to the Kentucky Center for Statistics a compiled list of all high school students who most recently completed their junior year that includes each student's:

   1. (a) Name;
   2. (b) Date of birth;
   3. (c) Address;
   4. (d) For students enrolled in a public school district: Enrolled school district; and School identification number; 1. 2.
   5. (e) Last four (4) digits of his or her Social Security number;
   6. (f) Cumulative unweighted grade point average; and
   7. (g) Highest score on a nationally recognized college readiness examination approved by the Council on Postsecondary Education that is in the possession of the department.
2. (2) The Kentucky Center for Statistics, in collaboration with the Kentucky Department of Education and the Council on Postsecondary Education, shall annually publish data on academic and workforce outcomes of each cohort reported to the center in accordance with subsection (1) of this section, including the cohort's college-going rates, postsecondary credential attainment, and employment and wage outcomes. The Kentucky Center for Statistics shall not include any personally identifiable information for individuals included within each cohort as part of the published data.

Acts ch. 35, sec. 2, which created this statute, included a citation to "Section 1 of this Act" in subsection (2) of this statute. Section 1 of that Act created KRS 164.099. It is clear from the text of the Act that the citation was meant to be to "subsection (1) of this section." This manifest clerical or typographical error has been corrected in codification under KRS 7.136(1). Legislative Research Commission Note (7/15/2026). 2026 Ky. Acts ch. 35, sec. 6, provides that the Act, which created this statute and KRS 164.099 and amended KRS 164.020, may be cited as the My Kentucky Future Act.
