CERTIFICATION STATEMENT:

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY:

KRS 151B.035 requires the Executive Director of the Office of Career and Technical Education to promulgate comprehensive administrative regulations consistent with the provisions of KRS 151B.035. KRS 151B.035 specifies that the Executive Director shall promulgate comprehensive administrative regulations for the unclassified service staff governing sick leave. This administrative regulation establishes requirements for the Sick Leave Sharing Program.

Section 1. Applicability of Sick Leave Sharing Program. Employees in the unclassified service may participate in the Sick Leave Sharing Program established by KRS 18A.196 and 18A.197 and 101 KAR 2:105 and administered by the Personnel Cabinet.
