CERTIFICATION STATEMENT:

NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY:

KRS 157.320(9) authorizes the Kentucky Board of Education to promulgate administrative regulations recommended by the Commissioner of Education that are necessary for carrying out the purposes of KRS 157.310 to 157.440, relating to the Fund to Support Education Excellence in Kentucky (SEEK). KRS 157.420 establishes restrictions on a local district's teachers' salaries allotment. This administrative regulation establishes requirements for the collection of salary data on teachers employed by the school district.

1. Section 1. The Department of Education professional staff data report shall be completed for teachers paid by or under the supervision of the local school district as of September 15 and shall be submitted to the Department of Education prior to October 1 of each school year.

2. Section 2. Incorporation by Reference.

   1. (1) The "Professional Staff Data Report File Layout", dated July 1, 2001, is hereby incorporated by reference.
   2. (2) This document may be inspected, copied, or obtained, subject to applicable copyright law, at the Department of Education, Division of Data Policy Management and Research, 17th Floor, Capital Plaza Tower, 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, Kentucky, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
