NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY:

KRS 250.081(1)(c)1 requires the director to establish seed certification standards. This administrative regulation establishes the procedure for certifying seed for varietal purity in Kentucky.

1. Section 1. Certification Procedure. (1) The procedures and standards established in the Kentucky Certified Seed Handbook shall be applied to all seed certified in Kentucky.

2. Section 2. Incorporation by reference.

   1. (1) "Kentucky Certified Handbook 2020," Kentucky Seed Improvement Association, 3250 Iron Works Pike, Unit 13, Lexington, Kentucky 40511, 2020,is incorporated by reference.
   2. (2) This material may be inspected, copied, or obtained, subject to applicable copyright law, at the Division of Regulatory Services, 103 Regulatory Services Building, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky 40546-0275, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
