1. (a) The confidential relations and communications between a naturopathic doctor and the naturopathic doctor's patient are placed on the same basis as provided by law as those between a physician and a physician's patient in K.S.A. 60-427, and amendments thereto.
2. (b) The provisions of this section shall take effect on and after January 1, 2003.
