- (a) This act shall apply only to personal insurance and not to commercial insurance. A personal insurance policy must be individually underwritten for personal, family or household use. No other type of insurance shall be included as personal insurance for the purpose of this act.
- (b) This act shall apply to all personal insurance policies either written to be effective or renewed on or after January 1, 2004.
