Every health maintenance organization and medicare provider organization authorized under this act shall annually on or before the first day of March, file a verified report with the commissioner, showing its condition on the last day of the preceding calendar year, on forms prescribed by the commissioner. Such report shall include:

1. (a) A financial statement of the organization, including its balance sheet and receipts and disbursements for the preceding year; and
2. (b) such other information relating to the performance of health maintenance organizations as shall be required by the commissioner. Every health maintenance organization and medicare provider organization authorized under this act shall be subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 40-225 and amendments thereto.
