Kan. Admin. Regs. § 97-6-9 – Format and frequency of reports.

(a) On or before the tenth day of each month, each participating VSO shall submit the following to the director on forms provided by the director:
1. (1) The monthly traffic report, which shall contain the following information for the previous calendar month:
  1. (A) The number of contacts;
  2. (B) the number of pieces of correspondence;
  3. (C) the number of USDVA forms processed;
  4. (D) the number of non-USDVA forms processed;
  5. (E) the number of USDVA claims allowed;
  6. (F) the number of USDVA claims denied;
  7. (G) the number of USDVA board hearings; and
  8. (H) the number of appearances before a USDVA rating board;
2. (2) the monthly monetary report. This report shall contain the dollar amount of each award for which an award notice was received during the previous calendar month and the date the claim was submitted, the number of awards, the monthly compensation, and any back payments for claims allowed. This report shall also indicate the total annual compensation for each of the following types of award:
  1. (A) Non-service-connected pensions;
  2. (B) service-connected compensation;
  3. (C) death pensions;
  4. (D) dependency and indemnity compensation;
  5. (E) insurance compensation;
  6. (F) education compensation;
  7. (G) burial compensation;
  8. (H) accrued benefit compensation;
  9. (I) waivers approved;
  10. (J) awards as a result of notice of disagreement;
  11. (K) miscellaneous awards; and
  12. (L) confirmed and continued awards; and
3. (3) a review and verification findings report showing the following:
  1. (A) The specific rating decisions reviewed that month;
  2. (B) any corrective action required; and
  3. (C) the date on which any corrective action was implemented.
(b) The director shall review the reports submitted by each VSO and shall provide the following summary reports to the KCVA:
1. (1) A quarterly traffic and monetary report summary; and
2. (2) an annual traffic and monetary report summary.
