- (a) Each hearing shall be open to the public and shall be conducted in accordance with the Kansas administrative procedure act. Each hearing shall be recorded by a certified shorthand reporter selected by the court or by audio or video recording systems. The court's record shall be the only official record of the proceedings.
- (b) The use of recording, photographic, or television devices during any hearing shall be permitted only if the use of these devices is not disruptive.
- (c) The cost of obtaining a transcript of any hearing shall be borne by the person requesting the transcript. A certified shorthand reporter shall be selected by the court to transcribe the official record of the proceedings.
