Kan. Admin. Regs. § 92-56-3
(a). Each manufacturer submitting an application for certification of an ignition interlock device shall obtain a policy of product liability insurance from a carrier authorized to do business in the state of Kansas. The insurance policy shall contain minimum liability limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence with an aggregate coverage of $3,000,000. The insurance policy shall cover all liability arising from defects in design and materials, including the manufacture of the device, its calibration, maintenance, installation, and removal.
