Kan. Admin. Regs. § 92-52-9 – Definition of moving violation.

(a) "Moving violation" means a conviction for violating any of the following:
1. (1) Any of the following Kansas statutes, and amendments thereto:
  1. (A) K.S.A. 8-235;
  2. (B) K.S.A. 8-237;
  3. (C) K.S.A. 8-244;
  4. (D) K.S.A. 8-262;
  5. (E) K.S.A. 8-287;
  6. (F) K.S.A. 8-291;
  7. (G) K.S.A. 8-296;
  8. (H) K.S.A. 8-1503;
  9. (I) K.S.A. 8-1507 through K.S.A. 8-1511;
  10. (J) K.S.A. 8-1514 through K.S.A. 8-1524;
  11. (K) K.S.A. 8-1526 through K.S.A. 8-1531a;
  12. (L) K.S.A. 8-1533;
  13. (M) K.S.A. 8-1535;
  14. (N) K.S.A. 8-1539 through K.S.A. 8-1540;
  15. (O) K.S.A. 8-1542;
  16. (P) K.S.A. 8-1545 through K.S.A. 8-1553;
  17. (Q) K.S.A. 8-1555 through K.S.A. 8-1560b;
  18. (R) K.S.A. 8-1561 through K.S.A. 8-1563;
  19. (S) K.S.A. 8-1565 through K.S.A. 8-1567;
  20. (T) K.S.A. 8-1568;
  21. (U) K.S.A. 8-1573 through K.S.A. 8-1576;
  22. (V) K.S.A. 8-1578 through K.S.A. 8-1578a;
  23. (W) K.S.A. 8-1580 through K.S.A. 8-1581;
  24. (X) K.S.A. 8-1584;
  25. (Y) K.S.A. 8-1595;
  26. (Z) K.S.A. 8-1599;
  27. (AA) K.S.A. 8-1703;
  28. (AB) K.S.A. 8-1725;
  29. (AC) K.S.A. 8-1759;
  30. (AD) K.S.A. 8-1910;
  31. (AE) K.S.A. 21-3405;
  32. (AF) K.S.A. 21-3442; or
  33. (AG) any other Kansas statute that specifically provides that conviction for a violation of such statute is a moving violation;
2. (2) any similar municipal ordinance or county resolution in this state; or
3. (3) any similar statute, municipal ordinance, or regulation in another state.
(b) Nothing in this regulation shall be construed to prevent the division of vehicles from recording on individual driving records other administrative actions or convictions relating to vehicles.
