The following diseases shall be designated as reportable infectious or contagious animal diseases and shall be reported in accordance with K.S.A. 47-622, and amendments thereto:

1. (a) Anthrax;
2. (b) all species of brucellosis;
3. (c) equine infectious anemia;
4. (d) classical swine fever, which is also known as hog cholera;
5. (e) pseudorabies;
6. (f) psoroptic mange;
7. (g) rabies;
8. (h) tuberculosis;
9. (i) vesicular stomatitis;
10. (j) avian influenza;
11. (k) pullorum;
12. (l) fowl typhoid;
13. (m) psittacosis;
14. (n) viscerotropic velogenic Newcastle disease, which is also known as exotic Newcastle disease;
15. (o) foot-and-mouth disease;
16. (p) rinderpest;
17. (q) African swine fever;
18. (r) piroplasmosis;
19. (s) vesicular exanthema;
20. (t) Johne's disease;
21. (u) scabies;
22. (v) scrapie;
23. (w) trichomoniasis;
24. (x) equine herpesvirus myeloencephalopathy;
25. (y) western equine encephalomyelitis;
26. (z) eastern equine encephalomyelitis;
27. (aa) Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis;
28. (ab) West Nile virus;
29. (ac) bovine spongiform encephalopathy;
30. (ad) chronic wasting disease; and
31. (ae) any other diseases that the animal health commissioner determines to be immediately reportable due to an animal health emergency situation.
