Upon approval of the provisions and procedures established by a local government pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4335, the local agency shall perform the duties set forth in K.S.A. 75-4327 and K.S.A. 75-4328. Within 45 days from the date of such approval, the local agency must adopt rules of procedure substantially equivalent to K.S.A. 75-4321 et seq., and the regulations adopted by the public employee relations board.
