On and after January 1, 2001, each Kansas-based motor carrier shall obtain a USDOT number that meets the requirements for the motor carrier identification report and markings of commercial motor vehicles established under 49 C.F.R. 390.21, as adopted by K.A.R. 82-4-3f.
