(a) The funeral director's license examination shall consist of the following subjects:
- (1) mortuary law and business law;
- (2) sociology of funeral service;
- (3) psychology;
- (4) mortuary administration;
- (5) accounting;
- (6) Kansas and federal laws pertaining to funeral directing and pre-need funeral agreements.
- (b) Each applicant shall obtain a minimum score of 75% before the issuance of a funeral director's license.
- (c) If the applicant fails the examination, the applicant shall be allowed to take the exam at the next regularly scheduled exam date without submitting a new examination fee. If the applicant fails the second examination or fails to appear for it, then the applicant may make a new application, pay another examination fee, and take the examination.
