Kan. Admin. Regs. § 61-3-24
A person shall not be permitted to take an examination conducted by the state board of barber examiners to determine his or her fitness to practice as a registered barber, as provided in K.S.A. 65-1812, until he or she has furnished the board with evidence of his or her satisfactory completion of the regular course of study at any school or college of barbering which complies with the standards and offers the course of study established by this article for schools and colleges of barbering, and which has been approved by the state board of barber examiners.
