In the event a participating library should petition the state library of Kansas board for withdrawal from the regional system of cooperating libraries, the system board may provide a list of property purchased with system funds by or for the petitioning library that the system board requests be returned to the system. This list shall be provided to the state board at least 30 days before the state board's hearing on the withdrawal petition. If the withdrawal is permitted by the state board, the state board shall issue an order instructing the petitioning library to return property to the system that the state board deems reasonable. For the purposes of this regulation, property may include books, furniture, equipment, or other property.
