The following levee hazard classes are established: (a) Class A levee—failure of levee may allow damage to farm buildings, limited agricultural grounds or private roads.

1. (b) Class B levee—failure of levee may endanger extensive agricultural land, or damage isolated homes, secondary highways or minor railroads.
2. (c) Class C levee—failure of levee may cause loss of life, or cause serious damage to private, commercial or public property.
