When computing a conditional release date, it shall be presumed that 100% of the available good time credits are earned. Conditional release good time credits may be forfeited in accordance with applicable regulations of the secretary. The conditional release date shall be based on the controlling maximum date. No conditional release date shall be computed for a maximum sentence of life.
