Each applicant or licensee submitting an application for a license or for the renewal of a license shall include the appropriate nonrefundable license fee, as follows:

1. (a) For each child-placement agency as defined in K.S.A. 65-503 and amendments thereto, $75;
2. (b) for each child care resource and referral agency as defined in K.S.A. 65-503 and amendments thereto, $75; and

3. (c) for each of the following child care facilities with a license capacity of 13 or more children, $35 plus $1 for each child included in the license capacity, with the total not to exceed $75, and for each of the following child care facilities with a license capacity of 12 or fewer children, $15:

   1. (1) Attendant care facility, as defined in K.A.R. 28-4-285;
   2. (2) detention center or secure care center, as defined in K.A.R. 28-4-350;
   3. (3) residential center or group boarding home, as defined in K.A.R. 28-4-268;
   4. (4) secure residential treatment facility, as defined in K.A.R. 28-4-330.
