Each owner or operator of a dry-cleaning facility which has ceased operation for 45 continuous days shall remove all dry-cleaning solvents and dry-cleaning wastes from the dry-cleaning facility not later than 45 days after the last day of operation.

1. (a) Each owner or operator shall dispose of all dry-cleaning wastes in accordance with K.A.R. 28-68-3, subsection (a).
2. (b) Any owner or operator may request from the department a written extension of the 45-day time limit established in subsection (a).
