When used in any provision of 40 CFR part 124, parts 260 through 266, or part 268, 270, 273, or 279, as adopted by reference by K.A.R. 28-31-124 through 28-31-279, the following substitutions shall be made unless otherwise specified in K.A.R. 28-31-124 through 28-31-279:

1. (a) Part B. The following phrases shall be replaced with "part B application":

   1. (1) "[P]art B of the RCRA application"; and
   2. (2) "RCRA part B application."

2. (b) Permitting agency or authority. The following terms shall be replaced with "department" or "the department":

   1. (1) "[P]ermitting agency";
   2. (2) "permitting authority";
   3. (3) "permitting authority for the facility";
   4. (4) "permitting authority of the state or territory where the facility is located"; and
   5. (5) "permitting authority of the state or territory where the facility(ies) is(are) located."
