Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-19-721 – Existing municipal solid waste landfills; definitions.

(a) The definitions at 40 CFR §60.751, as in effect on July 1, 1996, are adopted by reference for the purposes of K.A.R. 28-19-721 through 28-19-727.
(b) The definition of "municipal solid waste landfill" or "MSW landfill" is as defined in K.A.R. 28-19-200.
(c) Unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following meanings shall be given to these terms as they appear in 40 CFR part 60.
1. (1) The term "administrator" shall mean the secretary or the secretary's authorized representative.
2. (2) The term "United States environmental protection agency" or any term referring to the United States environmental protection agency shall mean the department.
3. (3) The term "state" shall mean the state of Kansas.
