1. (a) A license or permit shall be denied issuance, suspended, or revoked by the state fire marshal if the state fire marshal finds that the applicant, licensee, or permit holder meets either of the following conditions:

   1. (1) Has been convicted of a felony; or
   2. (2) knowingly provided false information in conjunction with an application for a license or permit.

2. (b) A license or permit may be denied issuance, suspended, or revoked by the state fire marshal if the state fire marshal finds that the applicant, licensee, or permit holder meets either of the following conditions:

   1. (1) Violated any provision of any regulation of the state fire marshal; or
   2. (2) failed, neglected, or refused to provide direct supervision over any unlicensed person who assisted in the performance of a fireworks display.
