1. (a) Each processor shall allow the state fire marshal or designee to inspect and take samples of any hemp, distillate, by-products, seeds, or hemp products on the premises to determine compliance with the act and implementing regulations.

2. (b) When requested by the state fire marshal, a processor shall provide a representative sample of any material specified in subsection (a) to a testing laboratory acceptable to the state fire marshal.

   1. (cv) (1) If testing is done pursuant to subsection (a) or (b), a certificate of analysis from the testing laboratory shall be provided directly to the state fire marshal.

      1. (2) If testing is done at the processor's request, the processor shall retain a copy of the certificate of analysis for at least three years and shall make this copy available to the state fire marshal upon request.
