123-6-106. Sentences to the age of 22½.
- (a) For each offender sentenced to confinement until reaching the age of 22½, the offender's sentence shall be calculated as a number of months by determining the number of months on and after the sentencing date through the date on which the offender reaches the age of 22½.
- (b) If the calculation to determine the number of months contained in a sentence to the age of 22½ results in a partial month, the Kansas juvenile justice authority's "adjustment chart for sentences to the age of 22½," dated August 3, 2006, and hereby adopted by reference, shall establish the necessary adjustment to the minimum number of days to serve and the number of good time days available.
- (c) Once the sentence to the age of 22½ has been calculated and expressed as a number of months, the sentence begins date and all other sentence computations shall be calculated in accordance with article 6 of these regulations.
