1. (a) If the guest facility's computer system fails to adequately transmit wagering data to the host facility, and a manual merge will not endanger the pools at the host facility, the host facility may manually merge the pools.

   1. (1) To merge the pools manually, each guest facility's parimutuel representative shall notify the host facility via telecopy or facsimile machine of:

      1. (A) the total amount in the pool;
      2. (B) the total dollars on winning wagers;
      3. (C) the total dollars on the losing wagers in the pool.

   2. (2) For purposes of declaring the race official, the following individuals shall be notified when the procedure is complete:

      1. (A) the stewards, racing judges or simulcast official at the sending racetrack; and
      2. (B) the stewards, racing judges or simulcast official at both the host facility, if different from the sending racetrack, and guest facility.
