The following services shall not be compensable unless approved by the director: (a) polygraph examinations;

1. (b) psychological stress evaluation exams;
2. (c) psychiatric or other services arising out of proceedings to determine competency to stand trial;
3. (d) other expert tests unless the results are admissible as evidence; and
4. (e) any other expert services not necessary for an adequate defense of the case.
