If a judge, receiver, or trustee in a case under Title 11, United States Code, has reported to the United States Attorney that he/she believes a violation of Chapter 9, Title 18, United States Code, or other laws of the United States relating to insolvent debtors, receiverships, or reorganization plans has been committed, or that an investigation should be had in connection therewith, 18 U.S.C. § 3057(a), the United States Attorney, if he/she decides upon inquiry and examination that the ends of public justice do not require investigation or prosecution, must report the facts to the Attorney General for his/her direction, 18 U.S.C. § 3057(b). The report of the United States Attorney should be sent to the United States Trustee Program.
