Sec. 2.5. "Athletic training room" means a designated physical facility located within an institution or in an acceptable affiliated setting in which comprehensive athletic health care services are provided. The athletic training room must provide at a minimum the following equipment:

1. (1) Taping table(s).
2. (2) Treatment table(s).
3. (3) Heat-cold therapy, for example, ice, hydrocollator, and whirlpool.
4. (4) Emergency equipment, for example, splints, crutches, and stretchers.
5. (5) First aid supplies.
6. (6) Therapeutic exercise equipment, for example, hand-leg weights and surgical tubing.
7. (7) A record keeping system, for example, a file cabinet and injury record forms.
