Sec. 12. Practical experience time served in another state will be accepted and will permit the applicant to take the NAPLEX examination subject to section 11 of this rule if the following requirements are met:

1. (1) The practical experience time served in such other state meets all requirements of Indiana law and is experience time of the type that is acceptable to the Indiana board of pharmacy (board).
2. (2) The applicant has a valid intern or apprentice license from the state where the experience is served. Or, if that other state does not require an intern or apprentice license, the applicant must submit certification or an affidavit from the secretary of the board that state showing that no intern or apprentice license is required.
