Sec. 1. (a) This rule establishes sanitary and equipment requirements for the following:

1. (1) Esthetic salons.
2. (2) Cosmetology salons where esthetic services are provided.
3. (3) Mobile salons where esthetic services are provided.
4. (4) Cosmetology schools teaching esthetics.

(b) Unless otherwise stated, all the requirements in this rule are applicable to the following:

1. (1) Esthetic salons.
2. (2) Cosmetology salons where esthetic services are provided.
3. (3) Mobile salons where esthetic services are provided.
4. (4) Cosmetology schools teaching esthetics.
