Sec. 1. The purpose of these regulations is to provide procedures and directives to facilitate the administration by the secretary of state of issuing licenses to automotive salvage recyclers for certain activities involving, or related to, the acquisition, sale, rebuilding, recycling, destruction, or disposal of salvage vehicles and major component parts of vehicles. These rules and regulations are promulgated pursuant to the authority granted to the secretary of state under IC 9-32-3-1.
