Sec. 4. The casino licensee shall establish procedures to observe, unannounced, the compliance with the system of internal controls for the electronic gaming devices that have been submitted in accordance with 68 IAC 11 and this article. The procedures shall be performed quarterly and shall include, at a minimum, the following:

1. (1) Observe and review the following:

   1. (A) Jackpot payout procedures.
   2. (B) The electronic gaming device drop procedures.
2. (2) Observe and review the location and control over the sensitive keys.
3. (3) Compare the original electronic gaming device jackpot slips to the duplicate jackpot slips to verify accuracy.
4. (4) Review the electronic gaming device jackpot slips for the proper number of authorized signatures.
5. (5) Verify and account for the numerical sequence of the electronic gaming device jackpot slips.
6. (6) Recalculate the electronic gaming device documentation for accuracy and recording.
7. (7) Randomly select certain days to verify the accuracy of the total of jackpots and re-foot and trace to the jackpot report.
8. (8) Any other procedures deemed necessary by the executive director or the commission to ensure compliance with IC 4-33, IC 4-35, and this title.
